Due to the rapid development of information technology there has appeared a necessity for preparing specialists who are able to work in various fields of computer activities. The reason for this is that major companies produce more sophisticated appliances for home and office and equipment for small businesses and corporate organizations. With the release of new models, such as a router, the demand for professional maintenance personnel increases. It goes without saying that all companies holding leading positions in the IT services market are interested in training professionals to work properly with the latest technologies.
Pursuing this goal as well as the ability to accurately determine the level of knowledge of the candidates for a relevant position a system of certification was created. The system enables anyone to attend a necessary course, take tests, and upon successful completion one can get an official confirmation of their level of knowledge and skills in a form of a certificate approved by the company. These certificates demonstrate professionalism and have certain weight on the labour market.
This issue could not leave our University management uninterested as giving knowledge is the main responsibility of Samara State University. Why not providing our students with an opportunity to receive such certificates in their alma mater? This idea seemed to be appropriate and in 2006 IT study center was created under the supervision of Information and Analytical Center. Nowadays it includes Cisco Systems Local Academy, D-Link Center, newly opened Nexans Center, runs courses on Linux, and Computer literacy.
Our experienced tutors are ready to answer any of your questions that may appear during your studies and will help you to get insight in the problem. Our classrooms are well-equipped with the latest multimedia devices which makes the learning process comfortable and enjoyable.
